RU Community Joins Eric LeGrand for 15th Annual “A Walk to Believe”

Piscataway, NJ — It was a morning filled with hope, inspiration, and community spirit as over a thousand people came together on Saturday for the 15th annual A Walk to Believe, held outside SHI Stadium on the Rutgers University campus.

Led by former Rutgers football star Eric LeGrand, the walk brought together athletes, families, students, and supporters from across New Jersey to raise awareness and funds for spinal cord injury research. The walk kicked off along the boardwalk leading to the stadium, with participants following LeGrand every step of the way.

LeGrand, who was paralyzed during a game in 2010, has turned his life-changing injury into a powerful movement. Through his work with Team LeGrand of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, he’s helped raise millions for spinal cord injury research and support services.

Now in its 15th year, A Walk to Believe has become a staple event for Rutgers and the New Jersey sports community. With each year, the message remains the same: believe in the fight, believe in the cause, and believe in each other.
